Abstract: A monolithic fixed optical delay generator includes an optical substrate having a front face and a back face. A front coating is on the front face and a back coating is on the back face. The front coating is (i) highly reflective to a first wavelength and highly transmissive to a second wavelength while the back coating is highly reflective to the second wavelength, or (ii) the front coating is highly reflective to the second wavelength and is highly transmissive to the first wavelength while the back coating is highly reflective to the first wavelength.
