Abstract:
A method for load balancing in a base station is provided. The base station updates a traffic amount of a current time by reflecting a predicted traffic amount of a future time in the traffic amount of the current time, and determines parameters necessary for load balancing of the base station by comparing the updated traffic amount of the current time with a predetermined threshold.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting downlink by a network node. The network node creates downlink data for a terminal which is in a radio resource control (RRC) idle state. The network node inserts the downlink data into a first paging message for transitioning the terminal to an RRC connected state, when a size of the downlink data is smaller than a reference value. In addition, the network node transmits the first paging message to the terminal through a base station.
Abstract:
A method of providing a multicast service is provided by a terminal in a terminal-to-terminal direct communication. The terminal transmits a service start request message requesting a start of a multicast service to a multicast server, and receives a service start response message including a result of permitting a start request from the multicast server. The terminal receives, via a base station, resource information of a resource which a multicast coordinator allocates to the multicast service in accordance with a request of the multicast server, and transmits multicast service data based on the resource information.
