Abstract: Apparatus for treating fabric items such as mops, mats, rugs, and the like with a dust control fluid includes a conveyor for moving such items with respect to a plurality of rollers. The first roller senses the presence of the item and initiates a measured spray of dust control fluid. A previous roller, e.g. a felt roller, absorbs excess fluid from the item and spreads the fluid evenly, while a hard-surfaced roller urges the fluid into the item. For processing rugs, a rotating brush is employed for raising the nap of the rug after treatment.
