Abstract: Containers are fed by line pressure through a plurality of resilient guide rods, which rods are bent to define a helical path for the containers, and novel means is provided for supporting these guide rods at bulkhead stations along this helical path. Each bulkhead has an opening through which the containers can pass, and a series of hexagonal openings provided adjacent the container opening in each bulkhead are adapted to receive soft plastic plugs which can be clamped in these hexagonal openings to support guide rod supporting members each of which is mounted in a predetermined angular relationship with respect to the plane of the bulkhead.
