Abstract: A measuring device includes: a sensor arrangement; and an insulating support for use in an electric switching device. The sensor arrangement includes at least a sensor for measuring at least one of a current strength and a voltage of an electric current flowing through an electric path. The insulating support includes a sleeve comprised of electrically insulating material, the sleeve enclosing a space enclosing the electric path. The sensor arrangement is arranged on an outer side of the sleeve.
