    摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for nondestructive testing of structures where the apparatus includes a transducer for generating an ultrasonic acoustic signal, a nonlinear medium for parametrically generating a special, ramp, waveform, and an acousto-optic broadband receiver for detecting a reflected signal from the test structure. A homodyne interferometer is provided to measure the change of refractive index of the acousto-optic receiver, and generates an electrical signal representative of the reflected acoustic signal. Signature analysis techniques are utilized to evaluate the reflected waveform to determine the characteristics of the structural defects.

    摘要: A system and method for configuring an equalizer 48 for a transmission link includes a computer 82 that forms a mathematical model of an analog equalizer having a plurality of mathematical model filter stages. The computer 82 determines a desired response and tunes each of the plurality of mathematical model filter stages toward the desired response to form a plurality of model filter parameters to compensate for distortions in the transmission link. The equalizer 48 is coupled to the RF chain. The plurality of filter stages is tuned in response to the filter parameters. The RF signals are broadcast in response to analog equalizer.

    摘要: A system 10 that is used for analyzing a broadcast system includes a receiving device 60 that generates a baseband demodulated RF signal and digitizes the RF signal to form a digitized signal. A data capture module such as the IQ monitor board 90 is coupled to the receiving device 60 for acquiring samples of the digitized signal. A computer is communication with the data capture module. The computer processes the samples of the digitized signal to obtain a broadcast system response and an inverse broadcast system response. The display generates a display corresponding to the broadcast system response and the inverse system response.
