    摘要: An injection system includes a fluid delivery system, a drive mechanism, a controller and a tubing set. The fluid delivery system includes a fluid container and a pumping mechanism having an inlet in fluid connection with the fluid container and an outlet. The tubing set is adapted to be placed in removable fluid connection with the outlet of the pumping mechanism and a patient. The drive mechanism is in operative connection with the pumping mechanism to pump fluid from the fluid container. First and second information stores, such as bar codes or RFID tags, are associated with the pumping mechanism and the tubing set, respectively. The controller is in operative connection with the drive mechanism and adapted to read the first information store and the second information store to at least partly control the operation of the drive mechanism based thereon.

    摘要: A system and method for mixing and delivering fluids such as contrast media and saline is disclosed including at least two fluid sources, a pump, a joining fluid path for connecting the at least two fluid sources to an inlet to of the pump, and a valve device in the fluid path upstream of the pump. The valve device includes an actuator adapted to restrict flow in at least one of the respective fluid lines connecting the at least two fluid sources to the pump inlet. A patient interface device may be associated with an outlet of the pump. The valve device actuator is generally adapted to restrict the flow in at least one of the respective fluid lines such that a positional change in valve device actuator position provides a change in fluid mixture ratio of the fluids from the at least two fluid sources to the pump inlet.

    摘要: The present invention provides a connection mechanism adapted to make a releasable connection between a syringe plunger and a drive member of an injector. The drive member is preferably movable in a generally reciprocal linear manner to control movement of the plunger within the syringe. The connection mechanism comprises at least one capture member attached to the plunger. The capture member forms a releasable connection with the drive member upon contact of the drive member during linear forward motion of the drive member when the capture member is rotated relative to the drive member to an engagement position. The capture member is further adapted to disconnect from the drive member upon rotation of the capture member relative to the drive member to a disengagement position.
