An integrated circuit substrate is made by exposing a mask to a composite representation of the pattern of integration of several different dice. The mask is exposed several times to produce several composite representations on the mask. Several different composite representations may be formed on the same mask. Identical aligned composite representations are checked by optically comparing corresponding dice in different composite representations via respective optical systems. The several composite representations on the mask are transferred simultaneously to the substrate to reproduce the pattern of integration of the dice at a plurality of locations in the substrate. The area of the mask covered by the composite representations may be greater than the usable area of the substrate such that for at least two of the composite representations only a portion of the composite representations is reproduced on the substrate, some of those dice not reproduced in one of the composite representations being reproduced in the other of the two composite representations. One half of the mask may have composite representations relating to one processing step, while the other half of the mask relates to a different processing step, the mask being reoriented after the first step so that the part of the substrate exposed initially to the one half of the mask is subsequently exposed to the other half of the mask, the other part of the substrate being rejected.

Embodiments provided herein recite methods and systems for corroborating position system code from Navigation Satellite System (NSS) signals. In one embodiment, a NSS high yield module attempts to determine a high yield location solution based on a first set of PRN codes. In addition, a NSS high accuracy module attempts to determine a high accuracy location solution based on signal processing of the same first set of PRN codes. A location solution corroborator module receives input from both the NSS high yield module and the NSS high accuracy module and generates a corroborated location solution. In one embodiment, a position provider outputs the corroborated location solution.

An integrated position and direction system is disclosed that includes a digital compass and a satellite positioning system (SATPOS) having a receiver adapted to receive satellite position determining signals. Direction is determined using the digital compass and heading is determined using the SATPOS. The integrated position and direction system is operable to display, on a display device, map information that is oriented according to a current orientation regardless of whether the system is stationary or moving. The map display is oriented according to either heading determined using the satellite positioning system or direction determined using the digital compass. The integrated position and direction system updates the map display to orient the map display with a current position. A method and system for generating and maintaining a database comprising a location-sensitive timetable. At multiple locations, a device (e.g., an integrated position and direction system) listens for broadcast signals from broadcasting devices (e.g., Global Positioning System satellites). For each location, the device records the time and date and the number of satellites from which a signal is received. The device can also record the identities of satellites that can and cannot be picked up. The information recorded by the device can be used to automatically generate a timetable showing the dates and times of day for each location that are and are not satisfactory for doing data maintenance, based on the number of satellites available for viewing. The recorded information can also be used to automatically predict future dates and times for each location that will or will not be satisfactory for data maintenance. Each visit to a location accumulates additional information regarding when satellites will and will not be available for viewing. In this manner, a timetable is automatically generated and updated. The timetable can be automatically factored into mission planning for data maintenance by creating a schedule for visiting each location when satellite viewing will be satisfactory.
