Abstract: A method and apparatus for data augmentation based on outpainting is proposed. The method includes receiving input of image information and prompt information by an image processing apparatus, creating training data by using outpainting techniques and performing the data augmentation on the basis of the image information and the prompt information by the image processing apparatus, training an object detection model on the basis of the created training data by the image processing apparatus, evaluating performance of the object detection model by the image processing apparatus, and converting and storing performance evaluation results and the prompt information into a database by the image processing apparatus.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for detecting an event includes extracting at least one of position information and motion information of at least one object from a soccer video including the at least one object, causing a state of the at least one object to transition based on at least one of the position information and the motion information of the at least one object according to object-specific state transition rules, and when the state of the at least one object becomes a final state, detecting a soccer event corresponding to the final state. Accordingly, it is possible to concretely and accurately recognize events that may occur in a soccer game using deterministic finite automata (DFA) pre-determined according to object.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of detecting a moving object including: predicting an optical flow in an input image clip using a first deep neural network which is trained to predict an optical flow in an image clip including a plurality of frames; obtaining an optical flow image which reflects a result of the optical flow prediction; and detecting a moving object in the image clip on the basis of the optical flow image using a second deep neural network trained using the first deep neural network.
