摘要： A system for determining the absolute position of a first object with respect to a second object includes a scalar element attached to the first object and a measuring device attached to the second object. The scalar element comprises a series of coded regions. The coded region represents a number designating a position along an axis of the scalar element. The measuring device includes a two-dimensional optical sensor array configured to capture an image of a portion of the scalar element. The system also includes a processor configured to receive the image and determine an absolute position of the first object with respect to the second object based on at least one coded region of the series of coded regions.

摘要： Hosted content received from media hosts is used to generate a set of fingerprints representing the hosted content. The fingerprints representing the hosted content are compared to a set of fingerprints representing reference content submitted by content owners to generate one or more match metrics. Based on the match metrics, the media host may provide indication that they accept policy terms specified by the content owners, including revenue sharing terms. If the media host accepts the revenue sharing terms, the media host may provide advertising content to viewers in association with the hosted content matching the reference content. Funds received from providing advertising content are distributed to the media host and the content owner according to the revenue sharing terms.

摘要： A photograph retention assembly, for holding one or more photographs, includes a retention member that includes a pair of opposed retention fingers. The retention fingers are moveable between an open configuration to receive one or more photographs therebetween and a closed configuration to retain the one or more photographs therebetween. Each retention finger includes a corresponding arm. Movement of one arm relative to the other arm moves the fingers between the open and closed configurations. The photograph retention assembly also includes a mount member that has an engagement formation. The engagement formation is cooperable with at least one arm to selectively secure the retention member and the mount member to one another.
