Abstract: Plates and plate assemblies for noise attenuators and other devices and methods of making the same are described herein. An example disc-shaped plate described herein includes a plurality of sector-shaped plates that have openings defining flow paths. Each of the plurality of sector-shaped plates has a first radial edge forming a first mating feature and a second radial edge forming a second mating feature that is complementary to the first mating feature such that, when the plurality of sector-shaped plates are arranged together, the first mating feature of each of the plurality of sector-shaped plates mates with the second mating feature of an adjacent one of the plurality of sector-shaped plates.

Abstract: Flame arresters and end housings for flame arresters are described herein. An example flame arrester includes an end housing. The end housing includes a pipe section having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the pipe section having a first inner diameter along a first length between the first end and the second end. The end housing also includes a connection flange extending from the pipe section at the first end and a body flange extending from the pipe section at the second end. The flame arrester also includes a body having a third inner diameter along a second length, the third inner diameter being larger than the first inner diameter. Abstract: Noise attenuation apparatus for fluid devices are disclosed herein. A noise attenuation apparatus includes a first plate having a plurality of first openings to reduce noise generated by a fluid flowing through a fluid device and a second plate having a plurality of second openings to reduce noise generated by the fluid. The second plate directly engages the first plate, and the first openings to at least partially align with the second openings when the first plate is in direct engagement with the second plate to define a flow passageway of the noise attenuation apparatus.
