摘要： A bent embroidery thread guide wire is attached to a base mount releasably attachable to a spool pin rod of an embroidery and sewing machine. An open spiral bent loop end of the upwardly bent wire adjusts to a position spaced slightly apart from and approximately centered on an embroidery thread spool mounted on the machine. The embroidery thread feeds from the spool through the open looped end, through the normal threading procedure of the machine, to the thread consuming needle apparatus under tension. A transverse bar extending from the base mount allows the guide wire to slide adjustably thereon to move toward or away from the spool. A stepped base mount receives embroidery thread spools of different diameters.

摘要： A thread guide device for use with sewing and embroidering machines is adjustable to accommodate a variety of differently dimensioned thread spools or cones and is adapted for use with machines having a horizontally disposed thread spool support rod. The thread guide device includes a base having a support rod for supporting a spool or cone of thread on a rotor journalled for rotation on the support rod and dimensioned for insertion into the core of a spool or cone of thread. The rotor has a tapered end portion for accommodating spools or cones of different sizes. A wire loop thread guide secured to the base and mounted for selective lateral adjustment relative to the support rod has a first portion disposed within a slot of a slotted arm and a second portion provided with a coil wrapped around the slotted arm. A set screw secures a tapered retaining cap having a central axial aperture receiving the support rod to the support rod. A free floating thread retaining ring placed over an upper portion of a core of a thread spool or cone, allowing thread to be fed between the retaining ring and the core. A support ball mounted in an adjusted position along on the support rod by a set screw limits off-center movement of a thread spool or cone. The thread guide may be mounted on a ball having a cylindrical aperture slidably receiving the adjustment rod therethrough, such that the thread guide is selectively and independently adjustable in two perpendicular linear directions and also mounted for selective and independent adjustment around a first axis of rotation and a second perpendicular axis of rotation.

摘要： A push-away arrow rest for use with a compound bow includes an arrow launcher assembly biased to an upward arrow support position. A push rod assembly is biased away from the arrow launcher assembly and is adapted to push the arrow launcher assembly downward out of the way of an arrow and its fletching after the arrow is drawn and released from the bow. The push rod assembly is struck by the tuning cables which in turn strikes a rotator lever connected to the arrow launcher assembly which pushes the arrow rest down and out of the way of the arrow and its fletching within micro seconds.

摘要： The archery arrow rest features a thin, relatively flat arrow shaft-supporting blade disposed horizontally but with its thin edges disposed vertically so that the shaft is supported by the upper knife edge of the blade. The blade is inflexible vertically but flexible and resilient horizontally so as to be easily moved out of the way by the arrow shaft and/or vanes during shooting of the arrow from the rest. Preferably, the blade has a concave side facing the sidewall of the archery bow window and flexes easily in that direction in response to to side pressure from an arrow during shooting but automatically returns to the unflexed position when side pressure is released. The blade resists flexing toward its convex side. Since the blade is arcuate, it resists more effectively vertical bending. The rest also includes a holder releasably connected to the rear end of the blade. The holder includes, for example, a forwardly and rearwardly extending mounting block for releasable attachment of its front end to the sidewall of the riser of an archery bow adjacent the arrow window of the bow. The rear end of the mounting block is preferably attached to a transverse crossbar which extends behind the riser to a point behind the arrow window. The holder may further include a rod connected to the rear end of the blade and passing back into connection with the crossbar. Preferably, the rod is moveable forwardly, rearwardly and transversely.

摘要： The improved archery bow arrow rest includes an elongated bracket having a front end portion and opposite rear end. The front portion is adapted to be secured to the sidewall of an archery bow riser on the side of the riser opposite that which defines the arrow window of the bow. The rear end of the bracket has one end of a transverse bar secured thereto, with the opposite free end of the bar extending behind the arrow window when the bracket is secured to an archery bow. The bar preferably is secured by a spring to the bracket to bias the bar against counterclockwise rotation. The rest also includes a spaced parallel pair of inflexible arrow holder arms, the rear ends of which are secured to the bar. The central portions of the holder arms extend upwardly and forwardly of the bar for positioning in the arrow window. The front portions of the holder arms are bent down to form prongs which are at an angle extending toward each other to form a V. The lower ends of the prongs are spaced apart at least about 0.125 inch to provide clear passage for an arrow vane therebetween. Each of the prongs is at an angle of about 25-30 degrees from the vertical so as to securely hold an arrow against roll-off from the rest. Preferably, the prongs are injection molded in friction-free plastic and the lower ends of the prongs preferably include removeable extensions. The lengths of the holder arms can differ to more readily accommodate arrows with helical fletching.
