Abstract: An exhaust gas purification device comprises a first heating element made from an electrically conductive material, a second heating element made from an electrically conductive material, and a power supply configured to circulate an electric current in the first heating element and in the second heating element. The power supply comprises a first electrode electrically connected to the first heating element and a second electrode electrically connected to the second heating element. The heating device includes a substrate extending between the first heating element and the second heating element, and a connecting element electrically connecting the first heating element and the second heating element.

Abstract: A purification component comprises at least one block for purifying exhaust gases, and a casing that defines a circulation channel for the exhaust gases extending along a longitudinal axis, and in which the purification block is housed. The casing comprises an inlet portion, an outlet portion, and a central portion arranged between the inlet portion and the outlet portion, and with the central portion surrounding the purification block. A thermal insulator covers the whole of the casing. The thermal insulator comprise a first part, having a first temperature resistance, arranged radially facing the purification block, and a second part, having a second temperature resistance greater than the first temperature resistance, covering at least the inlet portion of the casing.
