Abstract: An automobile exhaust valve is provided, in particular for an automobile combustion engine and more particularly for an embodiment of an implementation of a gas passage shutter. A valve body defines a gas circulation passage along a longitudinal axis and is composed of only two identical half-bodies whose axes, parallel to the longitudinal axis, are offset radially, in order to define inside the valve body two seats on which sides of the gas passage shutter come into flat contact in a closed position. An exhaust pipe equipped with such a valve, and a vehicle equipped with such an exhaust pipe, are also provided.

Abstract: An exhaust valve comprises a substantially tubular body extending along an extension axis, a substantially flat flap, and a shaft integral with the flap and rotatable about a rotation axis between a closed orientation and an open orientation. The exhaust valve further includes a first seat suitable for accommodating a first edge of the flap facing the first seat, and a second seat suitable for receiving a second opposing edge of the flap. In each plane passing through the extension axis, a distal end of a profile of a seat is curved in the direction of the opposing edge until the distal end comes into contact with the opposing edge. A distal end of a profile of an edge is curved in the direction of the opposing seat until the distal end comes into contact with the seat.

Abstract: An exhaust valve comprises a substantially tubular body, defining a passage section and extending along an extension axis, and a flap positioned in the tubular body across the passage section. The flap rotates about an axis of rotation, secant to the extension axis, between a closed orientation where the flap closes off the passage section and an open orientation where the flap frees the passage section. The tubular body comprises two flanges that are substantially symmetrical to one another and an annular sealing ring is positioned and maintained between the two flanges.
