摘要: Method and system relating to firewall configuration have been discussed. According to an embodiment, a method comprises specifying at least one firewall configuration at a first server at which the at least one firewall configuration is to be enforced; to a plurality of servers, distributing the at least one specified firewall configuration along with a set of parameters to identify the plurality of servers at which the at least one specified firewall configuration has to be enforced; receiving a data packet by a second server of the plurality of servers from the first server; and comparing the at least one specified firewall configuration with a default set of firewall configuration while receiving the data packet by the second server of the plurality of servers from the first server.

摘要: A system and method for dynamically shaping an inter-datacenter traffic. The method encompasses receiving, one or more inter-datacenter data packets of the inter-datacenter traffic, wherein each inter-datacenter data packet is associated with a corresponding application and/or application interaction. The method thereafter encompasses identifying, one or more target application flow policies for said each inter-datacenter data packet from one or more application flow policies pre-stored in one or more eBPF maps. The method thereafter leads to dynamically marking, a priority for said each inter-datacenter data packet using an eBPF XDP techstack, based at least on the identified one or more target application flow policies. Further the method encompasses transmitting to an edge router, said each inter-datacenter data packet with the corresponding marked priority. The method further comprises dynamically shaping via the edge router, the inter-datacenter traffic based on said each inter-datacenter data packet and said corresponding marked priority.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for actively monitoring a latency in a network fabric comprising one or more data centres. The method begins with identifying a path between a pinger node and a responder node. A custom packet is then generated to be routed from the pinger node to the responder node via the path. Thereafter, the custom packet is encapsulated with one or more IP headers and deterministically routed from the pinger node to the responder node, subsequent to which a reverse custom packet is generated to be routed from the responder node to the pinger node. Next, the reverse custom packet is encapsulated with one or more IP headers. The method then includes deterministically routing the encapsulated reverse custom packet from the responder node to the pinger node and monitoring the latency between the pinger node and the responder node.
