    Abstract: A translation system is connected with at least two translation service providers through internet and includes an image capture unit, a data transmission unit, a comparing unit, and a display unit. A translation method is achieved by the foregoing translation system and includes the steps: capturing original data of original documents as an image data by means of the image capture unit; transmitting the image data to an image recognition unit and utilizing the image recognition unit to convert the image data into text data; transmitting the text data to the translation service providers for translation; utilizing the comparing unit to compare translation results and determine one of them as the best translation result according to the occurrence number of the same words in the compared translation results; and displaying the best translation result on a display unit. So the user can review the translation results quickly and easily.

    Abstract: A pocket scanner includes a printed circuit board (PCB) assembly, an optical engine module electrically connected to the PCB assembly, and a cover assembly enclosing the optical engine module and the PCB assembly. The optical engine module includes a frame of which a bottom is opened with a scanning window. A top of the frame is designed with a slant plane slantwise facing the scanning window. The PCB assembly includes a control PCB placed above the optical engine module and perpendicular with the scanning window, a bracket mounted to the control PCB, and a battery module received in the bracket and electrically connected to the control PCB. A bottom of the control PCB is designed with a slant edge corresponding to the slant plane. The slant edge is against the slant plane when assembly. The cover assembly defines a scanning opening corresponding to the scanning window for scanning an original therethrough.

    Abstract: A wireless scanner includes an optical scanning assembly which includes a housing, a light source circuit board, a reflective member and an image capture module. The housing has a bottom wall defining a window, a high end wall, a short end wall and two side walls. Two edges of the two side walls connecting with the top wall and the short end wall are defined as slopes. The light source circuit board is mounted to one of the two side walls and inclined upward and outward. The reflective member is mounted to the slopes and receives light from the light source circuit board to reflect it uniformly on the window. The image capture module is mounted to the high end wall for receiving light which is from an original in the window and reflected by the reflective member and then transmitting it to a Printed Circuit Board assembly.
