Abstract: An image display device including a display section configured to display an image includes a storing section, an authenticating section, and a control section. The storing section is configured to store an image and attribute information imparted to the image. The authenticating section is configured to recognize whether a user specified in advance is included in viewers of the image display device when an instruction to display the image on the display section is given. The control section is configured to restrict the displaying the image on the display section based on the attribute information, when a user other than the user specified in advance is included in the viewers of the image display device.
