Abstract: A memory stores association information, which represents a relationship between a combination of items that are purchased by a customer and an item that the customer gazes at before purchasing the combination of items. A processor uses an image picked up by an image pickup device for picking up an image of a customer so as to detect a line-of-sight position of a customer in an area in which information of a plurality of items is presented. Next, the processor determines one item from among items that are purchased by a first customer on the basis of purchase information of the first customer and the association information stored in the memory. Then, the processor calibrates the detected line-of-sight position of the first customer in the area on the basis of a position in the area at which information of the determined one item is presented.
