Abstract: A plasma display panel driving system in which, at the time of interrupting a power source, the operation of a control logic circuit is stopped before an output voltage from a sustain voltage power source becomes attenuated and, at the time of applying the power source, the operation of the control logic circuit is started after the output voltage from the sustain voltage power source is established, whereby a voltage similar to an erasing pulse is prevented from impression to the plasma display panel, thereby permitting a wall charge pattern to remain alive for a relatively long time.

Abstract: A plasma display panel induction preventing system in which when a write or erasing pulse is impressed to a selected one of electrodes of a plasma display panel, those electrodes adjoining the selected electrode are clamped at a predetermined potential or an induced voltage canselling pulse opposite in polarity to the write or erasing pulse is impressed to the adjoining electrodes, thereby preventing undesired effects resulting from an induced voltage.
