摘要： The invention relates to a suction stage (12) for a pump (10) with centrifugal wheel, the suction stage (12) comprising a rotational impeller (18) equipped with a hub (20) and arranged upstream of the centrifugal wheel (14), the suction stage (12) further comprising a diffuser (34) arranged between the impeller (18) and the centrifugal wheel (14), the diffuser (34) comprising a plurality of blades (36).The invention is characterised by the fact that the hub (20) has a downstream surface (20b) extending axially so as to converge toward the centrifugal wheel, and in that the blades (36) of the diffuser (34) have free ends, said blades protruding radially toward said downstream surface in such a way that the free ends of the blades make said downstream surface (20b) flush.
