An inventory management system (100) includes a server (10) that manages an inventory quantity of products by counting the number of wireless communication tags, in which the server (10) adjusts, when a difference occurs between an actual inventory quantity of the products in a store and the number of wireless communication tags, a count value of the number of wireless communication tags according to a circumstance causing the difference, and manages the inventory quantity of the products based on the count value of the number of wireless communication tags after the adjustment.
