摘要： A digital history service presents a user's collected data in an historical format such as a timeline that includes various interactions with objects and people over the course of time wherein the digital history data was retrieved and correlated from the various data stores. An example of such a retrieval is to select a sequence of items from the data store based on an algorithm that determines the next item based on its relationship to the current item. The relationship could be a complex combination of the date, time of year, historical events in the past, the person(s) or objects involved in a given event, the location of an event, past or upcoming national holidays, calendar items, etc.

摘要： Described herein is a user interface for reviewing time-correlated multimedia content. The user interface has three display regions, configured to display three different content sequences of different types, all relating to a specific event. The content sequences are time-correlated to each other. However, a user can independently scroll through individual content sequences. When the user selects a particular place in one content sequence, however, the other content sequences are updated to show corresponding places. The user can begin playback of the multimedia content, during which all of the content sequences are rendered in time with each other.

摘要： An e-mail client in accordance with the invention allows a user to select an e-mail distribution list with reference to a map that shows potential e-mail recipients and their relationships to each other. The user can select a first set of the potential e-mail recipients by designating one of a plurality of available predefined queries. A second set can be selected by positioning a graphical area selector over the map, to graphically encompass the second set of e-mail recipients. The e-mail client creates a distribution list from an intersection of the first and second sets of potential e-mail recipients.
