摘要： A seat assembly includes a seat portion having a frame assembly. A routing mechanism includes a plate member that is operably coupled to the frame assembly. The plate member includes a first portion having first and second raised portions spaced-apart from one another to define a channel therebetween. The routing mechanism further includes a connection assembly having upper and lower tabs spaced-apart from one another with a routing column assembly interconnecting the upper and lower tabs. A tether member includes a body portion that is routed through the routing mechanism, in that the body portion of the tether member is received in the channel of the routing mechanism and is wrapped around the routing column assembly and directed in forward direction.

The vehicle also includes at least one proximity switch located on the steering wheel, and a controller configured to process the rotational movement of the steering wheel and the sensed signal and control an interaction mode of the at least one input switch, wherein the controller changes the interaction mode of the at least one input switch based on the sensed steering wheel movement and the sensed signal.

摘要： A seat assembly includes a seat portion having a frame assembly, a carrier assembly and a displaceable platform operably coupled to the carrier assembly. The displaceable platform is operable between a use position and a deployed position. A retraction mechanism includes a first bracket operably coupled to the frame assembly, and a second bracket operably coupled to the displaceable platform. The first and second brackets are interconnected by an actuator that is operable between at-rest and actuated positions. The second bracket moves from a first position to a second position as the actuator moves from the at-rest position to the actuated position. At least one tether member is operably coupled to the first bracket and includes a body portion interlaced between the first and second brackets of the retraction mechanism.

摘要： A vehicle includes a heating system to selectively heat a vehicle device structured for contact by a vehicle occupant or for the occupant to view surroundings outside the vehicle from inside it. In one form, the vehicle device is a steering wheel, and the heating system encompasses a vehicle power supply electrically coupled to a rechargeable energy source to energize a heating element that together increase device temperature more rapidly than with just one of them alone. The heating system detects depletion of the rechargeable energy source and recharges it with the vehicle power supply, while increasing the temperature more slowly because the heating element is only being energized by the vehicle power supply. If the temperature is greater than or equal to a target level, energization of the heating element includes some form of time-varying modulation to approximately maintain the temperature target level.

The airbag abuts the deployable panel when the deployable panel is in the deployed position and the airbag is in the inflated position. A tether extends from the airbag to the deployable panel in the undeployed position.

The deployable panel is rotatable about the proximal end from an undeployed position to a deployed position. The proximal end is engaged with the dash in the deployed position and the deployable panel has a distal end spaced above the dash in the deployed position. An airbag is supported by the dash and is inflatable to an inflated position. The airbag has a back panel abutting the deployable panel in the inflated position and an impact panel opposite the back panel. A tether is connected to the deployable panel and the impact panel. The tether extends through the back panel from the deployable panel to the impact panel.
