摘要： An elongated cylindrical roller tube is rotatably supported between frame members by a pair of bearing units secured to opposite end portions of the tube. Each bearing unit includes a tubular shaft supporting a hexagonal stub axle for axial movement between an outwardly projecting position engaging a frame member and an inwardly retracted position against the bias of a coil spring confined within the shaft. An anti-friction bearing is mounted on the tubular shaft and is retained within the roller tube by an annular adapter. An annular dust cover snap-fits onto the outer end portion of the tubular shaft for protecting the bearing, and the stub axle is retained within the shaft by detents which permit pulling the stub axle from the shaft for axle replacement. The axle, shaft, adapter and cover are each molded of an electrically conductive plastics material, and each hexagonal stub axle has a resilient outer, surface and a tapered and twisted outer tip portion extending from a slightly tapered portion for self-alignment of the axles with mating hexagonal holes within the frame members.

摘要： A curved section of a roller conveyor includes a plurality of conveyor roller assemblies each formed by an elongated rigid cylindrical base tube with a bearing and stub axle unit mounted on each end portion of the base tube. The stub axle is spring biased and has a slightly resilient outer surface and a metal core pin. A tapered tubular sleeve of plastics material is mounted on an outer end portion of the base tube with the large end of the sleeve adjacent the outer end of the base tube. Preferably, the sleeve extends axially less than 50% of the length of the base tube and has a press-fit on the base tube with a radial pin locking the sleeve to the base tube.

摘要： A disposable plastic container-applicator usable as a douche having an integrally formed catheter and a container portion with a cover member enclosing the catheter. The cover member is sealed to the catheter both at a constricted portion and at a skirt portion to prevent the escape of fluid from the catheter into the surrounding atmosphere. A groove on the neck of the catheter engages a ridge on the skirt portion to form a seal. The inside diameter of the tip of the cover member is greater than the outside diameter of the catheter so as to form a cavity. To open a slit in the rounded end of the catheter for the passage of fluid, the user pinches the tip to cause the air of the cavity to pass through the slit.
