摘要： A vehicle front headlight device includes: a fixed illumination section configured to shine light toward a first illuminated region at a lower side ahead of a vehicle; a variable illumination section that selectively adopts either an illumination angle from which light is shone toward a second illuminated region further ahead of the vehicle than and at an upper side of the first illuminated region, or a depiction angle from which a depicted pattern is shone toward a depiction region nearer to the vehicle than the first illuminated region; a support member to which the fixed illumination section being attached; a retention section that retains the variable illumination section and is supported by the support member so that it can pivot about an axial direction running along a vehicle width direction; and a drive section that causes the retention section to selectively adopt either the illumination angle or the depiction angle.

摘要： An electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes a main assembly and a cartridge including a process device actable on an electrophotographic photosensitive member. The process cartridge is detachably mountable relative to the main assembly, with the cartridge including a first unit and a second unit pivotably connected with the first unit. An opening is provided in the main assembly of the apparatus for permitting mounting and demounting of the cartridge. An openable member is provided in the main assembly of the apparatus for openably closing the opening. An exposure device is provided on the openable member for exposing the electrophotographic photosensitive member. A first positioning portion is provided in the main assembly. The exposure device is provided with a second positioning portion for positioning between the exposure device and the second unit of the cartridge by engagement with the cartridge by closing the openable member.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a cover member which is openable and closable with respect to main assembly of the image forming apparatus; and an image reading portion, movable to first and second positions, for reading an image of an original. The cover member is movable to first and second open positions with respect to the main assembly. The image reading portion is initially rested at the first position as the cover member is moved from a closed position to the first open positions, and then is movable from the first position to the second position in interrelation with movement of the cover member from the first open position toward the second open position.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a cover member which is openable and closable with respect to main assembly of the image forming apparatus; and an image reading portion, movable to a first position and a second position which is retracted from an image forming portion more than the first position, for reading an image of an original. The cover member is movable to a first open position in which the cover member is open with respect to the main assembly and to a second open position in which the cover member is further open with respect to the main assembly. The image reading portion is movable from the first position to the second position in interrelation with movement of the cover member from a closed position, in which the cover member is closed with respect to the main assembly, toward the second open position, and is movable from the second position to the first position in interrelation with movement of the cover member from the second open position toward the closed position. The image reading portion is located at the first position during movement of the cover member from the closed position to the first open position and is moved from the first position to the second position in interrelation with the cover member during movement of the cover member from the first open position to the second open position.
