Abstract: A touch panel device includes a plurality of transmission electrodes and a plurality of reception electrodes disposed in a sensing region on a substrate, the transmission electrodes and the reception electrodes forming a sensor cell, wherein the sensing region has a non-rectangle shape, a plurality of the sensor cells is arranged in the sensing region in a row direction and in a column direction, and each sensor cell has a region shape according to a shape of the sensing region such that number of the sensor cells in respective rows is the same and number of the sensor cells in respective columns is the same.

Abstract: A touch panel device includes: a plurality of detection regions arranged in a matrix form; and a transmission wiring element and a receiving wiring element formed for each detection region, wherein a transmission wiring arrangement region with the transmission wiring element, the plurality of detection regions, and a receiving wiring arrangement region with the receiving wiring element are formed being aligned in one direction, wherein a value calculated from a formula as follows is smaller than a target value for a coordinate position precision: AW+2*BW−TC, wherein BW is an interval width from one of the detection regions to a next of the detection regions via the receiving wiring arrangement region and the transmission wiring arrangement region in the one direction, AW is a width for the detection regions in the one direction, and TC is a touch diameter.
