Abstract: A technique to optimize medical image enhancement that is facilitated by AI/deep learning neural network implementation. In various embodiments, the computer-executable components can comprise a receiving component that receives a set of “regions/volume of interest” images containing a plurality of organs; and an artificial intelligence deep learning neural network model component that automatically processes and enhances the respective images in a locally adaptive way so that at each location the enhanced image is optimized for the organ that is displayed at that location.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for increasing a quality of images generated by a computed tomography (CT) system. In one example, an initial assessment of contrast timing and flow through different anatomical regions of a patient is performed, and based on the initial assessment, different visualization schemes are applied to the different anatomical regions of a reconstructed image, where each visualization is optimized for assessing a different anatomical region. The visualizations may increase a contrast between diseased tissues and non-diseased tissues of the different anatomical regions, and may include color maps (e.g., heat maps and/or probability maps) and/or color overlays based on spectral decomposition information. The different visualizations may be combined into a single 2D image, where each anatomical region (e.g., organ, bone, etc.) is displayed in high contrast, and where aspects of various anatomical regions may be highlighted or colorized to visualize specific information.

An automated report may be generated including a first visualization based on a first scan, and a second visualization based on a second, earlier scan, to show a progression of a disease of the patient.

Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards automated and dynamic creation of a consolidated summary of medical information pertaining to a patient. Rather than a caregiver having to trawl through numerous reports and medical information, utilizing consolidated reports enables efficient review of medical information to enable expedited determination and treatment of the patient. In an example sequence of operation, a collection of patient/medical reports can be individually summarized to form a collection of summarized versions of the original reports. The summarized reports can be further collectively summarized to generate a consolidated summary. Hence, the consolidated summary is a summary of the initial collection of patient/medical records. A consolidated summary can comprise patient information, medical history, medical images, pertinent medical research, etc. A consolidated summary can be presented on an interactive display, with the respective initial patient/medical reports accessible via selectable hyperlinks presented in the consolidated summary.
