Abstract: A method for performing a scan of a subject includes receiving a selected protocol for the scan and triggering, upon receiving a start signal, automatic landmarking of the subject on a table of a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner utilizing a three-dimensional (3D) camera. The method includes obtaining landmark positioning data from the 3D camera and utilizing the landmark positioning data for localization of the region of interest. The method includes, subsequent to the automatic landmarking, triggering a calibration scan of the subject with the MRI scanner and obtaining calibration data from the MRI scanner and utilizing the calibration data for refining the localization of the region of interest. The method includes generating a geometry plan for subsequent scans utilizing both the landmark positioning data and the calibration data and triggering at least one subsequent scan of the subject with the MRI scanner based on the geometry plan.

The method includes: obtaining image data of a subject captured by an image capture apparatus; extracting a first feature vector and key point information at a predetermined position of the body of the subject from the image data; generating a second feature vector based on the key point information; and estimating at least one of the height and the weight of the subject based on the first feature vector and the second feature vector.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting an isolation pad in medical imaging, and a medical imaging system are provided. The method includes: acquiring an image of a detection object captured via a camera; determining, based on the image, whether an isolation pad is present at a predetermined part of the detection object; and outputting information related to a result of the determination. The present application detects an isolation pad placed on the body of a detection object, and it is thus possible to reliably avoid the formation of a loop in the body of the detection object.

The keypoint detection method for medical imaging includes: receiving an image sequence, the image sequence comprising a plurality of images of an object; performing keypoint detection on the plurality of images separately, and generating a keypoint image sequence; performing keypoint occlusion detection on the images in the image sequence; and determining keypoint distribution information according to the keypoint image sequence and a result of the keypoint occlusion detection.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining the orientation of a subject during medical imaging, and a medical imaging system is provided. The method includes: acquiring an image sequence of a subject captured by a camera, the image sequence comprising a plurality of images based on a time sequence; determining, based on the image sequence, whether the state of the subject is abnormal; and in response to a determination result that the state of the subject is abnormal, determining the orientation of the subject by using a first orientation or a second orientation, wherein the first orientation is the orientation of the subject determined based on an image before a period when the state of the subject is determined to be abnormal, and the second orientation is the orientation of the subject determined based on an image after the period when the state of the subject is determined to be abnormal.
