Abstract: A trailer support safety stand may include a top plate, a base pad, a post assembly including first and second posts, and a height adjustment mechanism including a handle, a locking device, and a linkage providing a pivot point between the handle and locking device. The first post may include first opening(s) and the second post may include a second opening. The first and second posts may telescope within each other such that the first and second opening(s) can align. The height adjustment mechanism may adjust a height of the post assembly such that when the handle is rotated around the pivot point and toward the post assembly, the locking device may be inserted through the aligned first and second openings, and when the handle is rotated around the pivot point and away from the post assembly, the locking device may be removed from the aligned first and second openings.
