Abstract: A battery cell includes a housing enclosing an anode and a cathode, and an electrode assembly disposed in the housing, the electrode assembly including a plurality of electrode layers, each of the plurality of electrode layers having a respective tab configured to electrically connect the plurality of electrode layers to one another. A first electrode layer includes a first tab, the first tab being offset from another tab of another electrode layer.
