摘要: A binder composition that can be used in a dry electrode mixture or electrode slurry for producing an electrode is disclosed. The binder composition comprises a water-compatible copolymer, and has a liquid content of less than 85%by weight, based on the total weight of the binder composition. The reduced liquid content of the binder composition improves transport and storage efficiency compared to a conventional wet binder composition. The binder composition disclosed herein is versatile, and can be used successfully in a dry electrode mixture and an electrode slurry. Batteries comprising electrodes prepared with the binder composition disclosed herein have electrochemical performances comparable to batteries comprising electrodes produced via a conventional wet binder composition.
