摘要： A method for checking for electrical frit breakdown in kinescopes uses a novel probe which is dimensioned to enter into the neck of the kinescopes without contacting the interior of the neck. A movable electrical contact is actuated to a position against the conductive coating on the inside of the tube. A high voltage supply is connected between the movable contact and the frit seal and current flow indicates an electrical frit seal breakdown.
