In a slide fastener, at least one stopping element including a resistance portion that increases sliding resistance by being brought into contact with an inner surface of a slider when the slider is sliding is locally disposed locally on an element chain row of a fastener stringer. Accordingly, the slider can be stopped at any position where the stopping element is disposed arbitrarily on the element row and an immobilized state of the slider can be maintained. By operating the slider with a force greater than the sliding resistance to the stopping element, the slider can be made to ride over the resistance portion of the stopping element and to slide along the element row.

The present invention provides a slider for a concealed type slide fastener with a separable bottom end stop capable of restoring a status to a normal one when an insert pin is inserted with an abnormal status, wherein a recess is provided in a shoulder mouth of a lower blade sideways of a diamond erected from a body of the slider and a slope is formed on a side wall sideways of the diamond and a rear mouth side of the recess, and the slope of the side wall restores the fastener tape into a parallel condition quickly and after that, the insert pin can be inserted into a box, thereby attaching the bottom end stop smoothly and easily.

There is provided a concealed slide fastener. The slide fastener includes a pair of fastener tapes, a pair of fastener element rows, a slider, a box pin, a box body and an insert pin. The insert pin includes an insert portion configured to be inserted into a space of the box body and an engagement portion formed on a side surface of the insert portion, which faces the box pin and configured to be engaged with a lowermost one of the fastener elements of one of the fastener element rows which is close to the box pin. The length of the engagement portion is set to be at least twice an interval between the fastener elements.

A slide fastener for preventing core strings from being caught in a gap between upper and lower flanges, securing the flexibility of the slide fastener when engaged, and improving the designability of the slide fastener. The gap dimension between the upper and lower flanges of a slider in the up-down direction is smaller than the core string dimension in the front-rear direction when the core strings are pressed with the pressure of 5 kgf. Fastener elements are independently disposed in the up-down direction of a tape member when engaged. The fastener element has a design portion disposed at a front side of the tape member, and an engaging portion disposed at a rear side of the tape member so as to engage with adjacent fastener element, and the design portion is disposed distant from the adjacent design portion when engaged and having a hemispherical shape with a curved shape.
