Abstract: Implementations relate to a supervised contact list for user accounts. In some implementations, a method includes determining an activity related to a particular user is pending on a device operated by a supervised user associated with a supervised account. The method includes associating the particular user with a particular user identifier, and determining whether the particular user identifier is present on a supervised contact list associated with the supervised account, where the supervised contact list comprises identifiers for one or more users. The one or more users are selected by a supervisor user. The method includes determining that the activity related to the particular user to be performed should be disallowed, based on whether the particular user identifier is present on the supervised contact list, and terminating the activity related to the particular user.

Abstract: In one implementation a method is provided that includes receiving a coalesced notification from a client device associated with a social group. The coalesced notification indicating that a number of messages transmitted between a first and a second user of the social group meets a pre-determined number. In this regard, the messages comprise messages associated with the first user and messages associated with the second user. The coalesced notification is provided to a display without providing contents of the messages associated with the first user and the messages associated with the second user. An interaction with the coalesced notification is detected at the display. Based on the interaction, it is determined whether to present at the display new messages in a unified list. The unified list comprising a first portion of the messages associated with the first user and a second portion of the messages associated with the second user.

Abstract: The disclosure includes a system and method for providing determined content to users. The system includes a social network engine, an affinity module, an optimization module and a content determination module. The social network engine receives registration data from a first user. The affinity module determines one or more affinities between the first user and one or more second users. The optimization module optimizes a content type for the first user. The content determination module determines content of the optimized content type published by the one or more second users and combines the determined content to generate a post based on the one or more affinities. The content determination module provides the post to the first user.
