Abstract: Implementations generally relate to providing data transmission between devices over audible sound. In some implementations, a method includes mapping each symbol of data to a frequency combination, where each frequency combination includes one or more frequencies. The method further includes generating a sine wave for each frequency. The method further includes adding sine waves for a given symbol to obtain a resulting sine wave. The method further includes applying a window function to the resulting sine wave to obtain a data signal.

Abstract: In one aspect, a system for controlling the focus of a lens is disclosed. The system may generally include a sensor configured to detect changes in a focal distance of the lens and a thermal device configured to adjust a lens temperature of the lens. In addition, the system may include one or more computing devices communicatively coupled to the sensor and the thermal device. The computing device(s) may be configured to control the thermal device such that the lens temperature is adjusted in a manner that reduces variations in the focal distance.

Abstract: An image capture device is disclosed. The image capture device may generally include an optical element configured to create a light cone having a focal plane. The image capture device may also include an image sensor having an active area defining an image plane that is angled relative to the optical element. In addition, the image capture device may include a controller communicatively coupled to the image sensor. The controller may be configured to control the image sensor such that the light passing through the optical element is detected by a readout area of the active area. The readout area may be set by the controller based on the position of the focal plane relative to the image sensor.

Abstract: A device holder for retaining an electronic device is disclosed. The device holder may generally include an inner member and an outer member. The inner member may include a back wall and first and second inner sidewalls extending from the back wall so as to define an inner slot configured to receive at least a portion of the electronic device.
