摘要: In a general aspect, a method can include: receiving, by an electronic device, data defining an augmented reality (AR) environment; receiving an indication to place an AR object on a reference surface in the AR environment; in response to the indication, displaying the AR object on the reference surface in the AR environment; performing a first gesture on an input device of the electronic device; in response to the first gesture, elevating the AR object a distance above the reference surface in the AR environment; performing a second gesture on the input device of the electronic device; and in response to the second gesture, moving the AR object in the AR environment.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for providing co-presence in an augmented reality environment. The method may include receiving a visual scene within a viewing window depicting a multi-frame real-time visual scene captured by a camera onboard an electronic device associated with the augmented reality environment, identifying a plurality of elements of the visual scene, detecting at least one graphic indicator associated with at least one of the plurality of elements, detecting at least one boundary associated with the at least one element, and generating, in the viewing window and based on the detection of the at least one graphic indicator, Augmented Reality (AR) motion graphics within the detected boundary. In response to determining that content related to the at least one element is available, the method may include retrieving the content and visually indicating an AR tracked control on the at least one element within the viewing window.

摘要: Systems, devices, and apparatuses for a switchable augmented reality and virtual reality device are provided. An example device includes a handle, a device chamber, a viewport assembly, and a hinge assembly. The handle may be formed from folded sheets of material. The example device chamber is coupled to the handle and formed from folded sheets of material. The viewport assembly may be formed at least in part from folded sheets of material. The example hinge assembly pivotably couples the device chamber to the viewport assembly. For example, the hinge assembly may be operable to adjust the device between a virtual reality configuration and an augmented reality configuration. A display of a computing device held in the device chamber may be viewable through the viewport assembly in the virtual reality configuration and the display may be viewable without the viewport assembly in the augmented reality configuration.
