Abstract: This application relates to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Affective Computing and Computer Sciences among others, and discloses a method for equipping a robot or other technological device with the ability to recognize character and type of relationship, simulate character and emotions, and trigger and carry out conflict and reconciliation processes with other actors, such as humans or other robots. The method includes: a novel model for personality and relationship characterization based on dimensions, here called Pat Palprolov; a novel model that allows for the characterization and recognition of personality and type of relationship on the basis of actions, here called the loom and fabric of actions; a novel model for robot behavior including an objective function, a system of dimensional values, weights and thresholds, and a pyramid of needs; and a model for stress and its effect on the intensity of the triggers.
