摘要: Provided are a method, system, and program for installing and executing shared applications in shared folders. A program is installed by a base computer, having a local storage, to a shared folder accessible to multiple client computers over a network. Installing the program adds files for the program to the shared folder and modifies the local device used by the base computer and enables the base computer to run the program by accessing the program files in the shared folder. An image is created of the local device of the base computer including the installed program. The image is provided to the client computers to apply to local devices of the client computers. Applying the image to the local devices of the client computers enables the client computers to access the program files in the shared folder to run the program.

摘要: Machine-readable media, methods, apparatus and system are described. In an embodiment, a model client platform may generate a file image comprising an incremental file stored on a first model block of a model storage unit of the model client platform; generate a file description image comprising file description stored on a second model block of the model storage unit, wherein the file description comprises a position of the first model block in the model storage unit; and upload the file image and the file description image to a server connecting with the model client platform. An ordinary client platform may generate an ordinary block bitmap indicating usage status for each ordinary block of an ordinary storage unit of the ordinary client platform; and receive the file description image from the server connecting with the ordinary client platform.

摘要: A nutrition tracking system comprises a nutrition tracking server, a plurality of weight-based food offering terminals, and one or more nutrition and meal information inquiry terminals. Multiple weight-based food offering terminals may be equipped on a food service cart. Each weight-based food offering terminal may be initialized to offer a type of food. The weight-based food offering terminal automatically measures the weight of food taken by a customer or for a customer, calculates the cost of food, and shows the weight and the cost on the display in real time. When the food is paid, the weight-based food offering terminal automatically reports the vending information to the nutrition tracking server. The nutrition tracking server maintains a database for customer meal information and a database for customer nutrition information. Customers may inquire their meal history and nutrition information using the nutrition and meal information inquiry terminals.

摘要: An authentication server may be adapted to (a) authenticate an authentication peer seeking to establish communications via a first network access node; (b) retrieve user profile information associated with the authentication peer; and/or (c) send the user profile information to a network gateway node that facilitates communication services for the authentication peer. A PMIP network node may be adapted to (a) provide wireless network connectivity to an authentication peer via a first network access node; (b) provide a PMIP key to both ends of a PMIP tunnel between the first network access node and a PMIP network node used to provide communications to the authentication peer; (c) provide the PMIP key to a first authenticator associated the first network access node; (d) receive a request at the PMIP network node from a requesting entity to reroute communications for the authentication peer; and/or (e) verify whether the requesting entity knows the PMIP key.
