    摘要: An apparatus for producing a personalized 3D object is disclosed. The apparatus, or kiosk, comprises a payment detector, a user input device and a display, an image acquisition system, calculators for calculating a 3D image, a manufacturing device and an exit for delivering the personalized 3D object to the user. The manufacturing device includes a loading device for loading blank 3D objects on a platform, which includes vertical storages and a rotatable tray disposed underneath having a slit therein for receiving the blank 3D objects. The rotatable tray is computer controlled to rotated between various operative positions for loading and unloading the 3D objects.

    摘要: The present invention relates to method and apparatus for producing a personalized 3D object. The method comprises steps of detecting whether a payment has been received, inviting a user to select parameters by means of a user input device and a display, capturing at least two images of a subject, calculating a 3D image with the images captured, producing and delivering the personalized 3D object to the user. In addition, a receipt comprising a web site address, a password and a set of instructions for ordering additional products are delivered to the user and the 3D image and data are transferred to a server via a network connection. The apparatus, or kiosk, comprises a payment detector, a user input device and a display, an image acquisition system, calculators for calculating a 3D image, a manufacturing device and an exit for delivering the personalized 3D object to the user.

    摘要: An optical 3D digitizer with an enlarged non-ambiguity zone, comprising a structured light projector for projecting a fringe pattern over a target area, the fringe pattern having a shiftable position over the target area is disclosed. First and second cameras having overlapping measurement fields are directed toward the target area and positioned with respect to the projector to define distinct triangulation planes therewith. The second camera has a larger non-ambiguity depth than the first camera. A computer evaluates a same set of camera-projector related functions from images captured by the cameras including the projected pattern at shifted positions, builds low depth resolution and degenerated 3D models from the camera-projector related functions evaluated with respect to the second and first cameras respectively, determines chromatic texture from the images, and builds a complete textured 3D model from data corresponding between the low depth resolution and degenerated 3D models within a tolerance range.

    摘要: An optical 3D digitizer for digitizing an object, comprises a white light source producing white light, a projection lens projecting the white light toward the object whereby the object has a fully illuminated side, a grating device producing a fringe pattern in the light projected by the projection lens, and first and second cameras positioned aside from the projection lens and aligned in angled directions with respect to each other so that the cameras have complementary fields of view directed on the illuminated side of the object and partially overlapping with each other over a depth of measurement of the object. The cameras have respective video outputs to produce video signals representing complementary images of the object with a common image portion as a result of the fields of view being partially overlapping.
