摘要： There is disclosed a self-operating extension flush bolt mechanism for latching the inactive one of a pair of swinging doors, which is operated to latch the door, once the latter is closed, by swinging movement of the other or active door to the closed position. The latch mechanism includes a bolt which is driven home by gear means operated by a cam engageable by the active door. Thermal-responsive means may be provided to inhibit retraction of the bolt when the latter is subjected to high temperatures, as during a fire, such as those likely to cause buckling of the doors.
