Abstract: The present invention relates to an olefin-based polymer, and a method for preparing the same. The olefin-based polymer according to an embodiment of the present invention has a wide molecular weight distribution and thus has excellent processability. Moreover, a relatively large number of short-chain branches are present in high molecular weight components of the olefin-based polymer, and thus the olefin-based polymer has excellent mechanical strength and heat-sealing properties.
