Abstract: A takeoff using injector action to aspirate dirty furnace gas from a sample zone and force it to an analyzer. Part of the water used for injector action is used to scavenge and rinse the walls of the gas takeoff passageway, with centrifugal force of water rotation holding the major cross-sectional area of the passageway open. Washing stream is biased to move counter to gas aspiration and leaves the device as a conical water curtain opening toward the furnace.
