Abstract: In an example, a first Internet Protocol (IP) address is assigned to a first service. The first service includes a plurality of pods and is to operate on a first port. A first node on which the first IP address is to be configured is selected from among a plurality of nodes based on a number of IP addresses configured on each of the plurality of nodes. Further, the first IP address is configured on the first node. The first IP address is assigned to a second service as well. The second service comprises a plurality of pods and is to operate on a second port.

Abstract: The current invention discloses a method for retrieving metadata from one or more clusters of computing nodes. The method, performed by a container orchestration container, comprises detecting failure of a first application instance of a first application running on a first computing node of the one or more clusters; determining a plurality of associated application instances of one or more applications running on one or more computing nodes of the one or more clusters, wherein the associated application instances are determined based on dependencies related to the failed application instance of the first application; and retrieving metadata associated with the failed application instance and the determined plurality of associated application instances from corresponding computing nodes, for fault analysis.

Abstract: In an example, a container cluster management system includes a cluster manager providing access to services provided by containers within a container cluster and a plurality of nodes. Each node has access to an IP table, and is to forward a service request for a service received via the cluster manager to at least one container sub-cluster by translating a destination address of the service request to an IP address of a container sub-cluster. At least one of the nodes comprises a proxy manager, to manage an IP table of the node and a service firewall, to add a service-specific rule to the IP table.
