Abstract: In various examples, detecting unauthorized attachment to a communication bus between first and second components according to the present disclosure may include: applying voltage to the communication bus between the first and second components; detecting, at the first or second component, a temporal response to the applied voltage; comparing the detected temporal response to a reference temporal response associated with the communication bus; and based on the comparing, detecting the unauthorized attachment to the communication bus.
