Abstract: An example computing apparatus requests a server to transfer default configuration information of a target application among a plurality of applications and receives the default configuration information from the server. The computing apparatus provides an interface for modifying a configuration of the target application based on the default configuration information and stores the configuration information modified through the interface. The computing apparatus configures the target application of a target image forming apparatus among a plurality of image forming apparatuses using the modified configuration information.

Abstract: In order to recover an image forming apparatus, an example computing device determines a target application to be installed in the image forming apparatus based on an application history of the image forming apparatus and obtains configuration information of the target application. The computing device creates a first task of installing the target application in the image forming apparatus and a second task of configuring the target application installed in the image forming apparatus based on the configuration information, and transfers the first task and the second task to the image forming apparatus.
