Abstract: A differential case includes an outer shell wall portion configured to accommodate a pinion gear therein, and a first groove is formed in an inner surface of the outer shell wall portion on a back surface side of the pinion gear. In addition, a convex portion is formed on the inner surface of the outer shell wall portion on the back surface side of the pinion gear, and the first groove is formed in the convex portion. Further, a diameter of the convex portion is equal to or larger than a diameter of a back surface of the pinion gear.
