摘要： A cable connector assembly includes a connector and a cable. The connector includes: a housing including a mating portion and a body portion, a latch mechanism mounted on the housing, and a metal casing enclosing the housing. The body portion includes a receiving slot at a front end thereof and a post projecting upwardly. The latch mechanism includes a latch member received in the receiving slot and a pulling member coupled to the latch member. The latch member includes a locking portion extending beyond the body portion and above the mating portion, a holding portion held on the body portion, and a connecting portion. The connecting portion of the latch member includes a first opening mating with the post. The first opening extends from a middle line of the mating portion sidewardly to both sides of the mating portion.
