Abstract: A slide loading apparatus wherein: 1. A casing is employed as a magazine to support a stack of slides that are to be successively fed by a slide changer into a display device, such as a slide projector, and wherein a shuttle is employed to apply a force to the second and the remaining slides in the stack of slides behind the second slide as a unit to push them away from the back surface of the leading slide so that the leading slide in the stack can be freely moved into the projector without slide interlock occurring between each leading slide, and its associated second slide; 2. A specially constructed support member is employed for conveniently mounting the tray in a fixed position on the side of the magazine casing between the inner ends of spaced apart protuberances that protrude from the side of the trough of the projector.
