Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a handwriting processing method, a terminal device, and a chip system, and are applied to the field of data processing technologies. The method includes: identifying, based on a first pressure value within a preset time range and a latest first signal strength, whether a stylus moves away from a handwriting module; stopping, when the stylus moves away from the handwriting module, displaying to-be-displayed handwriting content inputted by the stylus on the handwriting module within a first time range after a current moment; or stopping responding to several target coupling signals.
