Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a traffic monitoring method and apparatus, an integrated circuit, and a network device. When the traffic monitoring apparatus receives a packet, after determining that the traffic monitoring apparatus includes an empty first register, the traffic monitoring apparatus updates a value of first information in the first register to a measured value of a target performance indicator of the packet, and increases a value of second information in the first register by 1. The value of the second information in the first register is 0, the first information in the first register indicates a depth of a data bucket that carries a measured value of the target performance indicator of a to-be-monitored packet, and the second information in the first register indicates a quantity of packets that are in received packets and that match the value of the first information in the first register.

Abstract: This application discloses an in-situ flow detection method, an apparatus, a device, a system, and a storage medium, and relates to the field of communication technologies. A first network device is used as an example. The method includes: receiving a first service packet, and generating, based on first service characteristic information included in the first service packet, a first flow identifier corresponding to a service flow to which the first service packet belongs, where the first service characteristic information identifies a service packet belonging to the service flow; and adding the first flow identifier to the first service packet, to obtain a second service packet, where the first flow identifier indicates a second network device receiving the second service packet to perform in-situ flow detection based on the first flow identifier. The device sends the second service packet.

Abstract: A traffic detection method, apparatus, and system are provided. A first network device obtains a packet, where the packet is any packet of the traffic. The first network device adds a detection flag and detection indication information to the packet to update the packet, where the detection flag is used to indicate a position of the detection indication information, where the detection indication information includes a first flag, and the first flag is used to indicate whether the traffic is to-be-detected traffic. The first network device sends an updated packet to a second network device. According to this method, traffic performance is detected, and flexibility and extensiveness of traffic performance detection are improved.
